A student of mine told me this yesterday, and it made my day:
Student: *looks at picture of Teddy Roosevelt in my room* Teddy is the same as Theodore Roosevelt, right?
Me: Yup, absolutely.
Student: Yeah, he’s awesome. I like the stories you tell of him. You really got me into him.

fact: the only things i remember about presidents, history, etc. is from what you have told me, or more-or-less rant about. it’s true, you make history (in a refusal to use the word “fun”) LESS BORING.

Teddy Roosevelt is the badassest of the bad ass and my favorite president ever. Kid has good taste.
